With the Mastercycler nexus X2 you can run two completely independent protocols simultaneously. Smaller assays fit well on the 32-well block - for larger assays, which can also include more than 48 samples, the 64-well block is ideal. The larger block is available with gradient function. Like every member of the "Mastercycler nexus" family, the Mastercycler nexus X2 can be combined with all models of this family in a network of up to 3 devices. In combination with Eppendorf PCR tubes, PCR strips or separable plates, the Mastercycler nexus X2 provides you with consistent and publishable results.
